Position Summary:

Manage ISlide’s licensed sales accounts and sales team, which make up for the organization’s largest sales category. Major licenses include NBA, MLB, NHL, Nickelodeon, MLS, and over 100 NCAA universities. Major partners include Fanatics, Dicks Sporting Goods, Rally House, and many others!

Essential Functions:

  • Drive revenue growth in the Licensed Sales category through wholesale, dropship, and e-commerce accounts
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities with new wholesale and dropship partners
  • Research new sales opportunities through Fanatics and other dropship partners and lead projects to create growth in the dropship category
  • Manage current key account relationships to drive reorders
  • Determine licenses to pursue and manage approval processes for them including application, payment, and design creation
  • Improve sell-through at retailers by working with the customer, Marketing, and Operations to identify potential barriers to purchase and attract customers to the product
  • Collaborate with marketing to successfully showcase our licensed product offerings and advocate for Licensing Product’s presence across marketing channels
  • Manage all royalty compliance and adhere to specifications of licensing contracts
  • Coordinate with Design to create new licensed product to sell to customers
  • Create, analyze, and present periodic sales reports based on accounts performance
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Senior Licensing Associate

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field preferred
  • Some experience in the licensed sales industry preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales preferred
  • Knowledge of major US pro sports trends preferred, especially including the NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL, and NCAA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft office experience, especially including excel
  • Maintain a positive, solutions focused attitude
  • Ability to use good judgement and keep client information confidential
  • Deliver consistent excellent customer service to internal/external customers, colleagues and management
